Services for Homer E. Moore, 78, of Rt. 1 Wilder, who died
Thursday, April 26 in a Boise hospital will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Monday, April 30 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Pastor Gerald Harder of the Canyon County
Baptist Church,
Caldwell will
officiate. Interment
will follow at Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Caldwell.
He was born March 1, 1906 at Julesburg, Colo.,
a son of Charles and Millie Moore.
He was reared and educated in the Wendell and
Jerome,
Idaho areas and married Viola McDaniel on Dec.
26, 1936 in
Caldwell.
The couple made their first home at Notus and later
moved to the Central Cove area where he farmed until
retiring in 1981.
He is survived by his wife, Viola of Wilder; four
sons, Elmer, Stanley and Albert all of Caldwell and Larry of
Wilder; one brother, Arlie Moore of Idaho City, Idaho; two
sisters, Minnie Griffith of Boise and Winifred Casper of
Caldwell; seventeen grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded
in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold and Ralph.
Friends may call
at the Flahiff Chapel,
Caldwell
today from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Memorials may be
made to the American Cancer Society,
1909 Howard St.,
Caldwell, or to a favorite
charity.
