Joseph Nelson
Joseph L. Nelson, 26, of Nam-pa, died on Wed., Jan. 29,
1992, at home. Funeral services will be conducted at
10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
Dr, Bruce Petersen, pastor of the College Church of the
Nazarene will officiate. Burial will follow at the
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
Joseph L. Nelson was born on Feb. 21, 1965, in Boise, the
first born son of Larry and Joyce Nelson. He was
reared and attended school in Nampa and was currently
attending school at BSU. He married Tammie Renee
Mansfield on March 29, 1986, at Uneedus, LA. Following
their marriage they made their home in Nampa. Joe was
employed by Nelson-Deppe Inc. for the past 6 years. He
served in the Idaho Army National Guard and played the
saxophone with the 25th Army Band in Caldwell for more than
a year. He loved his family, his work, skiing, working
his Rottweiler dogs, his in-laws, traveling and showing off
his wife, children and dogs. He will be missed by all
his loved ones and friends. Joseph is
survived by his wife, Tammie Renee Nelson, Nampa; his 2
children, Brandon Joseph Nelson, age 4, at home, and his
daughter, Kaitlyn Nicole Nelson, age 2, at home; his
parents, Larry and Joyce Nelson, Nampa; 2 brothers, Mike and
Dave Nelson, both of Nampa; grandparents, Armenta Nelson
Quinton, Lyman Holloway and Edith Chandler, all of Nampa;
and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by Grandpa Stanley Nelson, Grandpa
Furley Chandler and Grandpa L.A.
