Juana Medina

    Rosary for Juana Medina, 36, of Nampa, who died Wednesday, Sept. 16 near Nampa as a result of an automobile accident, will be recited at 8 tonight at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  The Rev. Mauricio Medina will be the celebrant.  Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
    Mrs. Medina was born Nov. 23, 1950, at Cardenas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Alfonse and Sylvia Oliva Hernandez.
    She was reared and attended school in Mexico.  She married Rene Medina on Dec. 22, 1968, at Cardenas where they resided until moving to Nampa in 1972.
    She was active in the affairs of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and enjoyed Mexican folklore dances.
    She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and was the organizer of church activities.
    She is survived by her husband of Nampa; four daughters, Ana Luisa Medina, Rosaura Medina, Graciela Medina and Carmen Medina, all of Nampa; her mother, Sylvia Olivo of Cardenas; her father, Alfonso Hernandez of Cardenas; two brothers, Acencion and Humberto Cervantes, both of Cardenas; two sisters, Dolores Hernandez and Maria Elena Cervantes, both of Cardenas; a grandmother, Rosa Olivo of Cardenas and several nieces and nephews.
