Kathryn Parker
Services for Kathryn B. Parker, 74, Parma, who died Tuesday,
March 1, at a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 10 a.m.
Friday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by Ron
Hansen of the Parma Ward Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints. Interment will follow at the Parma
Cemetery. She was born April 15,
1908, at Bears Paws Mountains, Mont., a daughter of Herman
and Edith Russell Hofeldt. She was reared and educated
in Pocatello and Green River, Wyo. She married Herbert
L. Booth in 1934 in LaBarge, Wyo., and the couple ranched
there until 1958 when they moved to Hillsboro, Ore.
Mr. Booth died in 1973. She married Frank B. Parker on
June 10, 1974, in Hillsboro and they moved to Parma in 1980,
where they have since resided. She is
survived by her husband of Parma; four brothers, Ed Hofeldt
of Rock Springs, Wyo., Fred Hofeldt of Adrian, Ore., Harold
Hofeldt of Lyman, Wyo., and Jonie Hofeldt of Green River;
two sisters, Cleone Thayer of Hillsboro, and Isabelle Burnes
of Bountiful, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell,
today from 3 to 8 p.m.
