Katherine Nysingh
    Services for Katherine Nysingh, 76, Caldwell, who died Friday, Nov. 16 in a Caldwell hospital will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell by the Rev. James McMillan of the Caldwell Free Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    Mrs. Nysingh, a homemaker, was born Feb. 17, 1908 at Stockheim. Germany, a daughter of Johanness and Marie Pohl Lukkes.  She moved with her parents from Germany in 1913 at the age of five and they settled in South Dakota, where she was reared and educated.
    She married Peter Nysingh May 9, 1924 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  In 1937 the family moved to Caldwell, where she had since resided.
    She is survived by two sons, John Nysingh of Caldwell and Joe Nysingh of Ontario, Ore; two brothers, John Lukkes of Redding, California and Bill Lukkes of Caldwell; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Peter in 1973, a son Bert in 1983, two brothers and one sister.
    Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell Sunday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
    Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Idaho Affiliate, Inc., 1528 Vista, Boise, 83705, or the Elks Rehabilitation Hospital, P.O. Box 1100, Boise 83701.
