HOMEPAGE

Lowell Maybon

Lowell E. Maybon, 70, of Wilder, died Saturday Sept. 14, 1996, at a Boise hospital.  At his request, no services will be conducted.  Burial will be at Wilder Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Lowell was born Jan. 2, 1926, in Belgrade, Nebraska, one of four children born to Clark and Nel Butler Maybon.  When he was a small boy, he and his family moved to Idaho where he attended school in Homedale.
Lowell enlisted in the Army in 1944.  He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant, serving in Germany during World War II.  After being honorably discharged on July 2, 1946, he went to California and worked as an iron worker.  He retired several years ago, and returned to Idaho where he lived south of Wilder.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and yearly winter trips to Arizona.  He was also a proud member of the VFW, Wilder Post III.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Wilder VFW and to the Boise V.A. Hospital for all their kindness, compassion and help.
