Lowell E. Maybon,
70, of Wilder, died Saturday Sept. 14, 1996, at a
hospital. At his
request, no services will be conducted.
Burial will be at Wilder
Services are under
the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
was born Jan. 2, 1926, in
Nebraska, one of four children
born to Clark and Nel Butler Maybon.
When he was a small
boy, he and his family moved to Idaho where he attended school in Homedale.
enlisted in the Army in 1944.
He attained the rank
of Staff Sergeant, serving in Germany during World War II.
honorably discharged on July 2, 1946, he went to
and worked as an iron worker.
He retired several
years ago, and returned to
