Louise Nystrom
    Graveside services for Mrs. Louise E. Nystrom, 87, of Nampa, who died Wednesday, June 22, 1994, at the Nampa Hospice House, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. today, June 24, at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.  Rev. Glenn Schafer of Nampa officiated.  Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    Louise E. Nystrom was born on July 21, 1906, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Peter F. and Hulda Ulrech Werstlein.  She was reared and educated in North Dakota, graduating from Grand Forks High School.  She married Hardy Nystrom on June 11, 1935, in Grand Forks.  They moved to Salem, OR, in 1947 and lived there until moving to Nampa in 1984.
    Louise worked in her family grocery store as a young girl and she also worked as a retail sales clerk for a short time, but her real love was working as a homemaker for her family.
    She was an active church member all her life and most recently enjoyed attending the Nampa College Church of the Nazarene.
    She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Howard Thomas of Nampa and Josephine and Brad Sack of Timonium, MD; a son, Richard S. Nystrom Sr. of Sherwood, OR; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a cousin, Eleanor Bodahl Lind of Nampa.
