Faye Bowlin
Lula Faye Bowlin, 84 of Parma, died Thursday, June 17, 1999, at home of
natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June
21, 1999, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
Pastor Loren Yadon of New Life Fellowship,
Boise, will
officiate. Burial
will follow at
Parma
Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowlin was born February 16, 1915, at
Vanzant, Missouri, the daughter of Cornielius and
Lucienda Tooley. She
was raised and educated at Vanzant where she attended Stony Point Grade School.
She married Walter Delbert Bowlin January 10, 1934,
at Ava, Missouri.
They moved back and forth from
Missouri
to Idaho several times
before they settled at
Parma in 1948,
and where she has since resided. Faye
was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Parma,
where she taught Sunday School to pre-school age children,
as well as played the piano for a period of time.
She was also a member of Parma Senior Citizens and
enjoyed her time spent with the craft group.
Faye was a living a caring mother and grandmother who
devoted her life to her family.
She will be greatly missed by her family and a host
of friends. Survivors include her
children, Anna Louise Bowlin, Delbert “Dale” Bowlin, Letha
Faye Miller Donald Bowlin and Bob Bowlin; a brother Edd
Tooley; a sister, Doris Tidwell; 6 grandchildren and 4
great-grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by her husband on July 15, 1978; 2 sisters and 3
brothers. Friends may call at Dakan
