Lorena Taylor

    Graveside services for Lorena Louis Taylor, 86, of Nampa, who died Monday, Nov. 22, 1993, at a Nampa care center, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 1993, at the Hillcrest memorial Gardens, Caldwell.  Bishop Mark Hoagland of the Melba 2nd Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate.  Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    Lorena was born in Sciotoville, Ohio, on Dec. 31, 1906, the daughter of Orin Clay Winkler and Phebe Catherine Rueben.  She married Henry Ray Taylor on Sept. 2, 1924, in Cincinnati, Ohio.  They had four children.  Mr. Taylor died in 1963.  She married Victor Mersereau and he died in 1983.
    She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, W.O. "Bill" and Shirley Taylor of Nampa and Ronald D. and Shirley Taylor of Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jean and John Hatcher of Arkansas; 12 grandchildren: and 16 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her two husbands, parents, a son and a grandson.
    The family will greet friends and family at the Alsip Funeral Chapel from noon until 1 p.m. on Friday.
