Louis W. Palmer
    NAMPA Funeral services for Louis Wetzell Palmer, 89, 1923 Fourth St. S. who died Friday morning at a Nampa hospital following a short illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
    The Rev. Leo W. Reed of the Nampa First Baptist Church will officiate.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    Mr. Palmer was born Nov. 3, 1885, at Pacific Junction, Iowa, and was reared there.  He married Hattie Wilson at the home of her parents in Marceline, Mo., where they made their home for many years prior to moving to Council Bluffs, Iowa where they resided for many years.  Mr. Palmer was employed as a switchman for the Union Pacific Railway and retired in 1954.  It was his interest in hunting and fishing that brought him to Nampa following his retirement.  They have resided here for the past 20 years.
    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Palmer, Nampa, and was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
