Leonard M. Moore, 89, of Nampa, died Monday, Oct. 3, 1994, at a Nampa care center.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m.
Friday, Oct. 7, 1994, at Hillcrest
Memorial
Gardens,
Caldwell.
Dr. Dan Thimell, pastor of Nampa First Congregational
Church will officiate.
Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Alsip Funeral
Chapel, Nampa.
Leonard M. Moore
was born Dec. 22, 1904, at
Carroll, NE.
He was reared and educated in
Nebraska.
He married Irene B. Whitney on Nov. 15, 1940, at
Carroll. Following
their marriage they farmed in Carroll.
In 1952 they moved to
Grand Island, NE, where he worked as an electrician at the
Corn Husker Ordinance Plant.
In 1954 they moved to Nampa
and he worked at the Idaho
State
School and Hospital as an
electrician until his retirement in 1972.
Leonard was a member of the Nampa First
Congregational Ch

Leonard is
survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene B. Moore, Nampa; 2 sons and
daughters-in-law, George and Donna Moore, Odessa, TX, and
Chan and Dorothy Whitney, Virginia Beach, VA; a daughter,
Sandra Gabica, Boise; a sister, Lorna Schultz, Aurora, CO;
11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded
in death by 4 brothers and sisters.
Friends may call
at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today until 9 p.m. and on
Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The family

Nampa 83651, or flowers may be sent.
