Margaret "Peggy" Ann Meyer was born on Feb. 3, 1933,
to James A. and Luella A. Dennis Evertz at Mandan, No. Dakota.
At a young age she
moved with her family to Idaho where she was reared and educated, graduating from Nampa
Senior High School in 1952.
After graduation she
married and later divorced.
From that union she had 4 children, Clark, Polly,
Judy and Cathy. "Peggy"
worked at Pollard's restaurant in
Caldwell
for many years until her health forced her to retire.
On March 3, 1963,
in Winnemucca, NV,
she entered into matrimony with her long-time friend, Marion
L. Meyer and inherited 5 more children, Edna, Lucille,
Evelyn, Joyce and Judy. "Peggy"
and Marion had two children of their own, Carol and Leonard.
She loved to sew,
crochet, work with hobby crafts and plastic canvas.
Her children and
grandchildren now enjoy these hobbies.
Her passion was
camping and fishing.
Her biggest joy in life was to go to her lake
property in Donnelly for the summer which her grandchildren
called, "grandma's mountain."
She often sat around
the campfire roasting hot dogs and marshmallows with her
family. Peggy and
her aunt would take their fishing poles, bait and lanterns
to the lake on cool summer nights to catch fish.
Peggy was a
beautiful loving soul with a huge heart.
Everyone knew her as
grandma.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Marion
Meyer, Nampa; 11 children and their spouses, Edna and Matt
Blaylock, Evelyn Fuller, Judy Houseman, Cathy Wilson and
