HOMEPAGE

Mrs. C. G. Search
     Dies Saturday

Mary Ella Elizabeth Search, 49, died today at her Caldwell home following a prolonged illness.  The body is at the Peckham establishment pending funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Search is survived by her husband, C. C. Search; four daughters, Elsie Sweet of Wilder, Beulah Johnston of Laramie, Wyo., Dorothy Hoffman of Caldwell and Gladys Johnston of Stockton, Kas., two sons, Leland Search of Caldwell and Claude Search of Hutcheson, Kas.; her father, George P. Daws of Logan, Kas.; three brothers, four sisters and ten grandchildren.
Search, at liberty under $1500 bond, is awaiting preliminary hearing before Justice of the Peace John Plowhead next Wednesday on a manslaughter charge growing from the death of Dave Culver.  Culver was injured in an automobile accident on November 16 on the Wilder-Greenleaf highway when the car in which he was riding collided with Search's car.  Because of Mrs. Search's critical illness, the preliminary, first scheduled for last Wednesday, was postponed for one week.
