Martha Olson
    Services for Martha R. Olson 78, 503 12th Ave. N., Nampa, who died Thursday, May 24 in a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday in the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene by the Rev. Robert W. Carpenter.  Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    Mrs. Olson was born March 15, 1906, in Julesburg, Colo., to John and Rose Eiseman Schutz, and was reared and attended schools there.
    She married Samuel A. Olson August 6, 1924, in Julesburg where they lived until moving to Fruitland, Idaho in September, 1935.  They farmed there for 10 years prior to moving to Nampa in the winter of 1945.  She was a sales clerk for several years for the J.C. Penny Company, retiring in 1963.
    She was a member of the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene.
    She is survived by her husband of Nampa; one son, Ralph Olson, Mountain Home; three daughters, Marjorie Lorraine Pearce, Garden City, Phyllis Kom, Glenns Ferry and Carol Bloomfield, Caldwell; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by one son, Ivan Donald Olson, three brothers, and one sister.
    Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa until 9 p.m. today and Saturday from 9 a.m, to noon and from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church.
