Nell Marie
Miller, 80, of Nampa, died on
Sunday, Jan. 12, 1997, at a
Nampa
care center. Funeral
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 15,
1997, at the Lakeview Church
of the Nazarene,
608 14th Ave. No.,
Nampa.
Burial will follow
at the Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Caldwell. Services
are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel,
Nampa.
Nell Marie Miller
was born on August 7, 1916, in
Norwood, Missouri. As
a young woman she worked at Nellie Don's Clothing store in
Kansas City,
KS.
She married Elbert
Thomas Miller on March 26, 1937, in
Kansas City, KS. In
1942 they moved to
Seattle,
WA.
During WWII while
Elbert was in Germany with the U.S. Army, Nell lived in Missouri.
In 1945 they moved
to Nampa to make their home.
Nell was employed at
Consumers Market Bakery in
Nampa from 1960 to 1980 when she
retired. Her husband
preceded her in death in 1984.
She lived at
Heritage Retirement Center
for a year before moving to
Nampa
Care Center.
Nell was a member of
the Lakeview Church of the Nazarene.
Nell is survived
by her children, Phillip and his wife, Wendy Miller,
Meridian, Steven R. Miller, Nampa, Idaho, and Vickie Sue
Miller Tait and her husband, Phillip, Mt. Home, Idaho;
grandchildren, Brent Miller, Debbie Miller, Michael Miller,
Michelle Miller, Brian Byers and Jill Byers; a
great-grandsons, Collin Thomas Miller; 2 sisters, Eudora
Terry, Caldwell, and Kathryn Halliburton, Kansas City, KS; a
brother, Joe Broadus, Sacramento, CA, and a number of nieces
and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers, Lynn Kesner,
Howard Kesner, Fred Kesner, Paul Broadus and Ray Broadus;
and a sister, Eledene Pasco.
Friends may call
at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today from 2 to 8 p.m. and on
Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
The family
suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association of
Idaho, 1111 S. Orchard, Boise, ID 83705 or flowers may be sent.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a
grandchild, five brothers and four sisters. Friends may call
at the Flahiff Chapel, Caldwell, until 8 p.m. today and
