Ray Morden
    Services for Ray A. Morden, 90, of Parma, who died Friday, Dec. 30, at a Caldwell nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by the Rev. Jim McMillan of the Caldwell Free Methodist Church.
    Interment will follow at the Wilder Cemetery.
    He was born Dec. 6, 1893, at Barrie Island, Ontario, Canada.  He moved with his parents to a farm north of Nampa in 1896.  Ten years later, the family moved into Nampa where he finished school.  As a young adult, he worked as a livestockman, and entered the U.S. Army in 1917.  He served as a medic in France and following his discharge from the service, he returned to Nampa.
    He married Anna Ditton on Dec. 19, 1930, in Nampa.  The couple made their home in Nampa until 1932 when they moved to Sheaville, Ore.  In 1939, they moved to the Dixie Community west of Caldwell, where they lived until 1972, when they moved to Parma, where they have since resided.
    He engaged in dairy farming until retiring in 1959.
    He is survived by his wife of Parma; one son, James "Jim" Morden of the Phillipines; one brother, Delbert Morden of Hemet, Calif.; one sister, Dorothy Young of Madras, Ore.; and three grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
    Friends may call at the Flahiff Chapel, Caldwell, Thursday from 1 until 8 p.m.
    Memorials may be given to a favorite charity.
