Rodney Pendleton
Services for Rodney Jay Pendleton. 41, Caldwell, who died
Sunday, June 3, near Crouch of natural causes, will be
conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, in the Flahiff Funeral Chapel,
Caldwell, by L. Joel Durrant. Interment will follow in
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
He was born Sept. 3, 1942, in Nampa, to Verrell and Verneal
Wood Pendleton. He was reared and educated in Nampa
and the Deer Flat Community. He graduated from Nampa
High School in 1960. He married Janet Cox June 30,
1962, in Kuna and the couple made their home in Nampa and
later moved to Caldwell where they had since resided.
He was a mechanic for United Radiator of Caldwell for over
17 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints and a charter member of the
Caldwell Four-Wheelers and Pioneer 4x4s.
He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; two sons, Clint of
Caldwell and Steven at home; two daughters, Stacy and Trina,
both at home; his mother, of Kuna; one brother, Gary of
Caldwell; two sisters, Veleen Durrant of Mountain Home and
Veletta Murphy of Kuna; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at the Flahiff Chapel in Caldwell today
from 1 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be
made to the American Heart Association of Idaho, 3295 Elder
St., Suite 140, Boise, 83705, or flowers may be sent.
