Roy Nichols
Services for Roy Nichols, 80, of 1422 Everett St., Caldwell,
who died Wednesday in a Caldwell nursing home, will be
conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Alsip Funeral Chapel,
Nampa, by William Free of the Church of Christ.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell. He was born Jan. 29, 1901,
at Morrison, Okla., to W. B. and Cora E. Nichols. He
was reared and educated in Morrison. He married Golda
A. Ekhoff on March 7, 1924, in Perry, Okla. They
farmed near Morrison for several years. They moved to
Nampa in 1939 and farmed along Karcher Road. He
retired in 1964. They moved to Caldwell in October
1974. He was a member of the Morrison Methodist
Church. He is survived by his wife of
Caldwell; a daughter, Bertha Kuck of Caldwell; five
brothers, Raymond and Lloyd, both of Morrison, Cecil of
Stillwater, Okla., Ernest of Oklahoma City, Milton of
Glenoe, Okla.; five grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Idaho Youth Ranch, Box 534,
Rupert, or flowers may be sent.
