Robert R. Oliver
NAMPA — Funeral services for Robert Richard Oliver, 47, 412
Canyon St., who died suddenly from an apparent heart .attack
while snowmobiling at Round Valley, Idaho, Saturday will be
conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Nampa L.D.S. Stake
Center. Bishop Bryce Millar will
officiate. Interment will be at Hillrest Memorial
Gardens, with graveside rites by the Nampa Elks Lodge, No.
1389. Services and interment are under the direction
of the Alsip Funeral Chapel. Mr.
Oliver was born Aug. 10, 1926 at Ulysses, Kan., and attended
school there. He was married to Lue Ellen Smith at
Perryton, Tex., on March 15, 1947. They resided at
Syracuse, Kan. until 1956 when they moved to Nampa where
they have since resided. Mr. Oliver had been employed
with the Campbell Tractor Co. for the past 18 years and was
the service manager at the time of his passing.
He was a member of the Nampa Elks Lodge, No. 1389.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lue Ellen Oliver, Nampa;
three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Linda) Black, Nampa, Mrs.
Ammon (Leitha ) Grigg, Weiser, and Sgt. Marilyn Subler, with
the U.S. Air Force at Travis Air Force Base in Calif.; his
mother, Mrs. Viola Oliver, 1 Johnson, Kan.; one sister, Miss
Ruth Oliver, Johnson, Kan.; and 1 by four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
