Ramona Ortega
Wake services for Ramona E. Ortega, 30, of Caldwell, who
died in an Albuquerque, N.M., hospital of injuries received
in an automobile accident, will be held at 7 p.m., today, at
the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Funeral services will be con-ducted at 10:30 a.m., Monday,
at the First Spanish Assembly of God Church, 2121 Sunny
Ridge, Nampa, with the Rev. Eugene Martinez officiating.
Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell. She was born Aug. 24, 1956.
at Monterey, Mexico, the daughter of Domingo and Elisa
Castillo Ortega. She moved to Pharr, Texas, with her
family in 1965, and in 1969, they moved to the Caldwell
area. She attended Boise State University for three
years. She attended John Wesley Seminary School in
Monterey, graduating on June 21, 1987.
She was active in the church, especially in working with
children. She was also involved with a theater group
doing Christian plays and traveled to different churches in
the area to present the plays. She was a member of the
First Spanish Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her parents of Caldwell; three brothers,
Domingo, Mario and Ricardo, all of Caldwell; three sisters,
Socorro, Christiana and Magdalena, all of Caldwell; and her
grandmother, Conception Castillo Garcia of Mexico.
Memorials may be made to the First Spanish Assembly of God
Church, 2121 Sunny Ridge, Nampa, Idaho 83651.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time on Sunday,
at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
