CALDWELL Services for Samuel Seth Mohr, 89, 2009 Linden, who died Sunday at a Caldwell nursing home, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Officiating will be Pastor R.A. Garner and Pastor Donald Ryan of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    Mr. Mohr was born on Dec. 7, 1884, in Rush County, Kan., and grew up in Kansas.  He married Augusta Saltmann on Nov. 6, 1905, in Nekoma, Kan.  They farmed there until 1919, then moved to Wichita, Kan., where he worked for the Kansas Sanitarium and Hospital.
    They also lived in Mt. Hope and Abilene in Kansas, where he worked as a builder for the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  They came to the Caldwell area in May of 1964.  His wife died on Sept. 3, 1965, in Caldwell.  He married Iva Rowland on June 13, 1968, in Caldwell.
    He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
    Surviving are his wife, Iva, of Caldwell; a daughter, Elsie Smith Caldwell; three brothers, George W., Porterville, Calif., Ezra L., Riverside, Calif., and Rufus E. Mohr, Chula Vista, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    A sister and six brothers preceded him in death.
