Samuel A. Olson, 90, of Glenns Ferry, died Saturday, Feb.
26, 1994, in a Mountain Home nursing home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5,
at Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel, Mountain Home.
Graveside services are scheduled for 12:15 p.m. Saturday,
March 5, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, with Rev.
Truman Parker officiating.
born Nov. 28, 1903, at Genoa, Neb., a son of Andrew and Mary
Larsen Olson. He married Martha Schultz on Aug. 6,
1924, at Julesburg, Colo. He farmed in Nebraska until
1934, when they moved to New Plymouth, Idaho, where they
farmed until 1945. They then moved to Nampa where Sam
worked as a carpenter in the construction industry for many
years. He later moved to Glenns Ferry, where he had
resided for the past five years.

Sam loved the outdoors, and spent much of his time hunting
