Vollie Tooley
    Vollie Lester Tooley, 74, of Parma, died Friday, Sept. 29, 1995, at a Caldwell nursing home of natural causes.  Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 3, 1995, at the Parma Cemetery, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
    Vollie was born February 12, 1921, in Vanzant, Missouri, to Cornelius and Cindy Toley.  He was raised and educated in Missouri.
    Vollie joined the Army and served in WWII as a radio operator in the Philippines.  After the war was over, he moved to Parma, Idaho, with his mother, brothers and sisters and their families.  He was loved by all chilren because he had a sweet and gentle soul.
    He married Bessie Tooley February 14, 1972, in Parma.  Mrs. Tooley died January 27, 1985.
    Survivors include; 2 children, Leelola Hoskins and her husband, Bob, of Parma, and Terry Mullins and his wife, Sherri, of Parma; 2 brothers, Ed and Richard Tooley of Parma; 2 sisters, Faye Bowlin of Parma, and Doris Tidwell of Milwaukee, OR.; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Rhoda Bowlin and Ada Lake; a brother, Estill Tooley.
    Vollie was loved by all and he will be missed very much.
