William Meissner

    William J. Meissner, 90, of Nampa, died Tuesday, June 3, 1997, at a Nampa retirement center.  Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 1997, at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.  Rev. Roy Litsey, pastor of the Bethel Church of the Nazarene, will officiate.  Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    He was born on February 26, 1907, in McCook, Nebraska, to William F. and Lula M. Grasz Meissner.  He was reared and educated in Nebraska.  He moved to Idaho in the early 1930s and farmed in Kuna until 1957.  He moved to Nampa and worked several different jobs around Nampa and also took care of his parents.
    He is survived by several cousins throughout the West.
