Wayne Newberry
   
Wayne Newberry died May 22, 1991, at Roseville Hospital, Roseville, Calif.  Graveside services will be conducted by Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa, Saturday, May 25, at the Melba Cemetery at 11 a.m.
    Mr. Newberry was born May 25, 1917, in Lamoni, Iowa.  He married Thelma Mae Munyon Nov. 5, 1938, in Albany, Mo.  The couple had made their home in the Nampa/Southwest Idaho area for 40 years before moving to Citrus Heights, Calif., in 1986.  Mr. Newberry retired in 1978.  He was a farmer for more than 30 years and later was a truck driver before he retired.
    Mr. Newberry is survived by his wife of nearly 53 years, Thelma Newberry of Citrus Heights; three daughters, Barbara Newberry of Las Vegas, Nev., Cheryl Turner of Spokane, Wash., and Beverly Ross of Citrus Heights; and a son, Kenneth Newberry of Reno, Nev.; five sisters, Wanita Toney of Iowa, Charlotte Bowden of New Mexico, Ruby Willsie of Missouri, Marie Booth of Michigan, Betty Marshall of California; two brothers, Roger Newberry of Iowa, and Jack Downy of California; and six grandchildren.
    Friends may call Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
