Allen Prickett

     Allen E. Prickett, 65, of Cald-well, died Monday, December 23, 1991, at a Caldwell hospital.  Memorial funeral services were conducted on Thursday, December 26, 1991, at Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Interment followed in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    Allen was born on November 3, 1926, on the homestead at Lyman, Nebraska, to Elzie E. and Mabel F. Prickett.  He attended grade school at the school house, located on one corner of the homestead.  He attended the Lyman high school through 1944.  He then entered the U.S. Army and served during World War II with the occupational forces in Germany.  In 1947 he moved to Idaho with his parents and his brother, Eugene.  He married Vera Rudolph in 1958.  He had worked for Holden Insurance Co., Caldwell Car Center and Pioneer Irrigation Dist.  He married Dorothy Likens on November 19, 1980, at Sand Point, Idaho, and they made their home in Caldwell.
    Allen is survived by his wife, Dorothy, Caldwell; 2 daughters and their husbands, Kathy and Bert Kirby, Union, Oregon, and Susan and Scott Drinnon, Bremerton, Washington; 1 son and his wife, Douglas and Marge Prickett, Nampa; 3 stepdaughters, Linda and Bill Henderson, St. Peters, Missouri, Ann and Russell Wuelfing, Meridian, Idaho, and Kristeen and Jeff Thompson, Gig Harbor, Washington, 1 stepson, William S. Likens, Sunnyvale, California; his mother, Mabel F. Prickett, Caldwell; 2 brothers, Lawrence A. Prickett and his wife Gladys, Lyman, Nebraska, and Eugene Prickett and his wife Mary, Caldwell, Idaho; 2 sisters, Vera (Mrs. Leonard) Russell, Nampa, and Rachel (Mrs. Clinton) Harmon, Nampa, Idaho; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was very proud of all of them.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Elzie, and a brother, Earl Vern Prickett.
