Funeral services for Blanche H.
Perkins, 86, of Puyallup, Wash., and formerly of Nampa, who
died Friday at the home of her son in Puyallup, will be
conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel
with Leonard Hanold, minister of the Nampa Church of Christ,
officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest
Memorial Gardens. She was born on April
27, 1896, at San Francisco, Calif. She was reared in
Tulelake, Calif., and attended schools in Merrill, Ore.
She was married to Luther H. Perkins on Aug. 19, 1919, near
Klamath Falls, Ore. After their marriage they farmed in
Oregon later moving to Moses Lake, Wash., where they operated
a motel. They moved to the Nampa area from Nevada in
1964. Mr. Perkins preceded her in death on April 3,
1969. In 1970, she moved to Puyallup, Wash., to live
with her son. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Charles E.
Perkins, Puyallup, Wash., and Dan A. Perkins, Grass Valley,
Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma A. Hill, Baker, Ore., and
Mrs. Eleanor R. Magill, The Dalles, Ore.; one brother, Charles
Coppock, Rio Vista, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and 12 great
grandchildren. |
