Graveside services for Bernice Martha
Pinson, 67, of Marsing, who died Sunday, January 21, 1996, at
a Caldwell Nursing Home will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday,
January 25, 1996, at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
Pastor Rick Sherrow of the Assembly of God Church, Marsing,
will officiate under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel
Caldwell. Family and friends are asked to meet at the
cemetery. Mrs. Pinson was born February
14, 1928, at North Loop, Nebraska, a daughter of Ernest and
Anna Blauhorn Lee. She moved with her family to Marsing,
Idaho, in 1936 where she was reared and educated. She
married Bert Pinson on May 8, 1945, at Marsing, where she had
resided since. Bernice worked for Bowman Produce for a number
of years. Bernice enjoyed crocheting,
knitting, fishing, and rock hunting with her husband.
She worked as a volunteer at the Seniors Citizens and served
on the election board. She was a member of the Marsing
Senior Citizens. She is survived by a
daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Phillip Mahaffey of
Ontario, Oregon; a sister, Mae Young of Pasco, Washington; and
numerous nieces and nephews. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Bert in May of 1988, her
parents and two brothers. The family
suggests memorials to the Marsing Senior Citizens or Marsing
Ambulance Fund. Friends may call
