Mr. Puckett was born May 3, 1901, at Allen, Neb., to Ira and Elsie Roberts Puckett.  He grew up on the family farm with six brothers and three sisters. The family attended the Springbank Friends Church near Allen.  Cyril graduated from high school at Allen in 1918.  He worked for other farmers in the Allen area and married Eleanor Emry at Norden, Neb., June 26, 1924.  They established their home in Allen where he farmed for 10 years and where seven of their 10 children were born.

Surviving him are his wife, Eleanor of Greenleaf; his children, Bennie of Kamiah, Mary of Portland, Ore., Wayne of El Cajon, Calif., Keith of Gresham, Ore., Kenneth of Portland, Marilynn (Mrs. Claude) Meyers of Tianjin, China, Larry of Santee, Calif., Peggy (Mrs. Frank) Morse of Greenleaf and Bobby of Ontario, Ore.  Also surviving him are his sisters, Zella (Mrs. Freddie) Zeimer of Sandy, Ore., Zeta (Mrs. Anvie) Swanson of Sioux City, Iowa; his brothers, Neil of Sioux City and Jim of Fender, Neb.; 23 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Cyril was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister and a daughter, Lauretta (Mrs. Charles) Guenther.
Memorials may be made to the Greenleaf Friends Academy, Greenleaf, Idaho.
Friends may call at the Dakan Funeral Chapel from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday.
