Darrell Glenn Philbeck, 53, of
Caldwell, died Sunday, June 8,1997, at home of natural causes.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 13,
1997, at the Middleton Cemetery, Middleton. Family and
friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Darrell was born November 10, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, a son of
Lloyd and Wenona Gunnoe Philbeck. He was raised and
educated in Dayton and moved to Idaho at a young age. He
worked on cattle and sheep ranches, and he rode bulls in
rodeos. He married Margaret Ann Walter in 1973 in
Springfield, OR, and they were later divorced. He worked
over 20 years at the Carnation plant, which was later bought
by Nestle. Darrell enjoyed fishing,
hunting and music and was an accomplished guitar player.
He was a very hard worker. He is
survived by one son, Merel Philbeck of Caldwell; a grandson,
Kenneth Glenn Philbeck; his father, Lloyd Philbeck of Ohio;
three brothers, Dan Philbeck, Paul Philbeck, and Tim Phi!beck,
all of Ohio; one uncle, Wade Philbeck, one aunt, Glad Roberts,
both of Ohio. He was preceded in death
by his mother. |
