E. Fay Peterson

     Funeral services for E. Fay Peterson, 80, of Caldwell, who died Monday, Sept. 8, at his home of natural causes, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Elder Leon Cornforth of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Boise, will officiate. Entombment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    Mr. Peterson was born June 14, 1906, in Norcatur, Kan., to August M. and Iona Peterson.  He was raised in Kansas.
    He married Velda Keaton on Oct. 12, 1929, in, Almena, Kan. and they farmed in Kansas before coming to Idaho in the early 1950s where he had since resided.
    Mrs. Peterson died July 14, 1969.
    He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church.
    He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Charlie Day of Coos Bay, Ore.; four stepchildren, Lucille and Dan Doyle, Loren Hicks, Orville Swim, and Muriel Flores; a sister, Lula May Banchor of Caldwell; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Gene Burton of Caldwell; a grandson; a granddaughter; two great-granddaughters; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, and a brother.
    Memorials may be made to the Idaho Heart Association in care of Dakan Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1386, Caldwell 83606.
    Friends may call at the chapel today from 5 to 9 p.m.
