graveside burial services for Harry W. Pritchard, 100, of 1715
W. Flamingo, Nampa, who died Wednesday in a Nampa nursing
home, will be at a later date in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell. Arrangements and cremation
are under the direction of the Mountain View Funeral Home and
Crematory, Boise. Mr. Pritchard, a
retired farmer, was born Jan. 12, 1886, at Sumner, Neb., where
he was reared and educated. He was the owner of a small
mercantile store while living in Nebraska. He moved to
Idaho in 1939 at the end of the Depression. He then
moved to Harper, Ore., where he was a partner in farming with
longtime friend, Ken Provolt. He married
Eunice Bunnell on Aug 15, 1909, at Elwood, Neb. She died
in 1972 at Woodburn, Ore., where they had lived following his
retirement from farming in 1963. He moved back to Nampa
in 1973 where he lived until the time of his death.
He was an active member of a Nampa Masonic lodge where he was
presented a lifetime membership; and was an active bowler in
the Nampa Senior Citizens league, holding a 113 average
according to the 1984 book. Survivors
include three grandchildren, Barbara Roberts and Rosellie
Moore, both of Caldwell, and Terry Provolt of Myrtle Point,
Ore.; and a niece, Irene Shade of Denver.
