Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Jane
Pinther, 79, Nampa, who died on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 1990, at
the Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct.
22, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Russell
Hendrickson, pastor of the Nampa First Baptist Church and the
Rev. Alfreda and Jim Batdorff, Irene's daughter and
son-in-law, officiating. Entombment will follow in the
Building of Reverence at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell. Mrs. Pinther was born July
31, 1911, at Aurora, Colo. At an early age she moved
with her family to Nampa where she attended school in the
Sunny Slope area. She was married to Alfred Arno Pinther
Feb. 13, 1932, at Nampa, where they made their home. She
worked at the Stone Poultry Co., in Nampa, from 1946 to 1958.
She was a member of the Nampa First Baptist Church.
Her great love in life was her family, her husband, Alfred,
her four children and their spouses, her 12 grandchildren and
her 17 great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in
death June 2, 1985. Irene is survived by
two sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred R. and Carolyn Pinther,
Henderson, Nev., and Ernest Curt and Ilene Pinther, Rupert,
Idaho; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Webber Shows,
Springfield, Va., and the Rev. Alfreda and Jim Batdorff, Coos
Bay, Ore.; a sister, Beula Brannan, Nampa; a sister-in-law,
Pearly Shannon, Portland, Ore.; 12 grandchildren, 17
great-grandchildren and a very dear friend, Myrtle Thiel.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, three
brothers and two sisters. The family
