Graveside services for James E.
Personette, 89, of Burns, Ore., who died Jan. 21 in Burns,
will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Middleton Cemetery.
Mr. Personette was born March 14, 1896, in Hill City, Kan.
He lived in Twin Falls until 1941 when he moved to Pendleton,
Ore. In 1986 he moved to Burns.
He was a past noble grand of Pendleton Odd Fellows; a past
master of Tillicum Grange, Pendleton; and a member of the Twin
Falls Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran
of World War I and was secretary-treasurer of the World War I
veterans group in Pendleton at the time of his death, a
position he had held for many years. He
is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of Burns; two sons, Vergil
of Federal Way, Wash., and Marlen of Auburn, Wash.; a sister,
Lottie Wiseman of Anacortes, Wash.; three grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren. In lieu of
flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity. |
