Norene Perkel

     Services for Norene Perkel, 42, who died Tuesday, Dec. 8, in a Boise hospital of natural causes, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Curtis and Cassia Road Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel.
    Bishop William Pope of the Boise 5th Ward of the LDS church will officiate.  Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the Wilder Cemetery under the direction of the Relyea Funeral Chapel, Boise.
    Miss Perkel was born Jan. 25, 1945, at Caldwell to Verl W. and Nora M. Turner Perkel.  She was raised and received her education at Homedale.  After school she worked at various jobs at Homedale.  She moved to Boise in 1971 and , worked in various janitorial jobs, and was actively involved in volunteer work in the community, until ill health forced her to retire.
    She is survived by her father of Wilder; two brothers, Merton Perkel of Emmett and Mike Perkel of Boise; three sisters, Mary Ann Perkel and Carolyn Snowden, both of Milton-Freewater, Ore., and Janet Perkel of Lewiston. S
     She was preceded in death by her mother.
    Friends may call at the Relyea Funeral Chapel today until 8 p.m., and on Friday from 10 a.m.
