Patricia
Ann Potts, 66, of Nampa and formerly of Parma, died Thursday
November 23, 1995 of a long illness at a Nampa care facility.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday November 28, 1995 at Dakan
Funeral Chapel, Parma. Pastor Robert Miller, First
Church of the Nazarene, Nampa, will officiate. Burial
will follow at the Parma Cemetery, Parma.
Patty was born near Mobridge, South Dakota, August 25, 1929.
She came with her family to Parma in December of 1929 and
resided there most of her life. Patty attended Parma
school 1 through 12 graduating with the class of 1947.
She attended Northwest Nazarene College and College of Idaho.
She taught school 2 years, bookkeeping 2 years and various
other work until 1971 when illness prevented any employment.
Survivors include one sister and her
husband, Lettie and Marvin Huling of Nampa; nephew and wife,
Stephen and Sheila Bliss of Nampa; niece and husband, Mary and
Jarvis Bliss of Casper, Wyoming; one great niece and two great
nephews; many out-of-state cousins and including Sally Lofthus
of Caldwell. Preceded by parents,
Oliver and Leona Potts of Parma, 3 infant sisters and 1
brother. Patty's adult life was beset
by illness and tragedy: her Homegoing was preceded by a year
long Triumph of Healing, Peace and Love. |
