 Ruth M. Prescott

     NAMPA Services for Ruth Hazel Prescott, 78, of Nampa Route 7, who died Monday at a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa, by the Rev. Chester A. Sager of the Eagle Baptist Church.
    Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    Mrs. Prescott was born Dec. 15. 1896 at Columbia City, Iowa and was reared and educated in Nebraska.  She married Harry Prescott Sept. 26, 1917, at Merna, Neb.  They then moved from Nebraska to Idaho and located on a farm in the Opaline and Givens Hot Springs area.  The couple then moved to Boise in 1957.  Mr. Prescott died in 1961.  In 1971 Mrs. Prescott moved to Nampa where she had since resided.
    She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the O.G.S. Club.
    Surviving are two sons, John D. Prescott of Nampa, and Nolan E. Prescott of Boise; three brothers, Bill Kennedy and Omer Kennedy of Merna, Neb., and Glenn Kennedy of AnseImo, Neb., six sisters, Mrs. Florada Hall of Caldwell, Mrs. Eva Mohat of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Elizabeth Simonson of Merna, Neb., Mrs. Nola Wright and Mrs. Cleo Wood of Broken Bow, Neb., and Mrs. Ardella Coulter of Callaway, Neb.; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter and a brother.
