Ralph Peterson

     Private services for Ralph Victor Peterson, 93, of Caldwell, who died Monday, July 28, in a Caldwell nursing home, were conducted today at the hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Mr. Peterson was born on Jan. 30, 1891, at Fairfield, Iowa, to Samuel and Clara May Peterson.  He was reared and educated in Wyoming.  He worked as a ranch hand in Wyoming.  In the late 1920s he moved to Montana.  In 1935 he moved to Parma where he farmed.  In 1941 he moved to Caldwell where he continued farming until his retirement in 1956.
    His greatest love was gold mining.
    He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Florence Schrader and Mrs. Ethel Swanson, both of Radcliff, Ky.; two nieces and two nephews.
    He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
