NAMPA—Services for Will J. Pooley,
73, 407 19th Ave. N., who died Friday in a Boise hospital,
will be conducted Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Alsip Chapel. The
Rev. Thomas W. Wilbanks of the Nampa Congregational Church
will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens. Mr, Pooley was born Oct. 5,
1891, in Fedora, S. D., to Mr. and Mrs. William Pooley and was
reared in South Dakota. He married Mazie McCartney June
2, 1911, in Winner, S. D. They lived in South Dakota until
they came in 1944 to Nampa, where Mr. Pooley had since lived.
He was a retired farmer. Mrs. Pooley died Feb. 26, 1965.
Mr. Pooley was a member of the Nampa
Congregational Church. Survivors include
five sons, Orval, Robert, Howard and Donald Pooley, all of
Nampa, and William Pooley, Boise; four daughter, Berneita
Miller and Mrs. Darrel (Velda) Sprague, both of Dupree, S. D.,
Mrs. Raymond (Loretta) Kapp, Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. William
(Geraldine) Anderson, Custer, S. D.; a brother, Deo Pooley,
Nampa; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Ingalls, Springvale, N. Y.,
Mrs. Ivan Skarr, Glendora, Calif., and Mrs. Gladys Mischler,
Yucaipa, Calif.; 49 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Erma Ria, and a son, Delbert Wayne, two sisters
and a brother also preceded him in death. |
