Anelda Reece

    Services for Anelda Mina Olson Reece, 69, of Caldwell Route 3, who died Friday, April 15, at her home of natural causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Middleton Third Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Paul Okamura.  Interment will follow in the Middleton Cemetery under the direction of the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    She was born April 28, 1913, at Ashton, Idaho, to Levi and Ethel Bonneru Olson, and was reared and attended schools in Ashton.  Following her graduation, she worked in Lava Hot Springs then returned to Ashton.  There, she met Wayne Frank Reece and they were married on March 2, 1932.  They solemnized their marriage at the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple in November, 1935.  They moved to Marsing and farmed in the Owyhee Project until 1951, when they moved to Nampa, until 1957, when they moved to Middleton where they have since resided.
    She was nominated for Mother of the Year in Idaho in 1947.  She had served in the Middleton LDS primary, Sunday school, young women's program and taught seminary for five years.  She also served in the Relief Society both as teacher and visiting teacher for 42 years.
    She was a member of the Middleton LDS Third Ward.
    She is survived by her husband, Wayne Frank Reece, Caldwell; three sons, Vernal Reece, Caldwell, Clyle Reece, Meridian, and Arden Reece of Gresham, Ore.; three daughters, Joleen Reece of Nyssa, Ore., Mrs. David (Karen) Eldredge of Ontario, and Mrs. John (LaNae) Gaskill of Ontario; two sisters, Mrs. Lavona Grasmick, Boise, and Mrs. Leora Jones, Caldwell; two brothers, Lloyd Olson of Spokane, Wash., and Melvin Olson of Boise; 31 grand-children, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Cefford Olson.
    Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, today from 3 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday at the Middleton Third Ward Relief Society Room from I p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
    Memorials may be given to the Primary Children's Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah.
