Donald Cooper

     Nampa Services for Donald E. Cooper, 63, Route 1, Caldwell who died Wednesday in a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell by the Rev. Ernest Chamberlain of the First Christian Church. Interment will be at Hillcrest.
    He was born June 12, 1908 at Cedar Rapids, Nebraska and was raised there and in Fullerton, Neb. On Oct 11, 1928 he married Iva Maybon at Grand Island, Neb. They lived in Bellgrade, Neb., for eight years, and then moved to Huston in 1936.  They farmed until 1964 when he joined the staff of the Coop Oil Association. Later that year he bought acreage near Middleton where he resided until his death.
    He was a past master of the Deer Flat Grange, past president of the Huston Mustangs, and served on the Huston School Board.

    Survivors are his wife; two sons, Dale Cooper of Caldwell and Dr. Gordon Cooper of Shoshone; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Stevens of Boise; four brothers, Marion Cooper of Oregon City, OR, Clifford Cooper of Grand Island, Neb., Myle Cooper of Eugene, OR, and Gene Cooper of Fremont, CA; a sister Mrs. Maude Keller of Fullerton, Neb., and five grandsons.
