CALDWELL - Services !or Della Mae
Reno. 81, Parma Route 3, who died Wednesday at a Caldwell
hospital, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Dakan Chapel,
Parma. Officiating will be the Rev. Ray Hibberd of
Union. Ore., of the Nazarene Church. Interment will be
at the Wilder Cemetery.
She was born
Jan. 27, 1894, in Holdridge, Neb. As a child she lived
in Lumas and Maywood, Neb. Later she moved to Snyder,
Colo. where she was post-mistress from 1920 to 1926.
She married Charles Albert Reno Oct. 11, 1922, in Brush,
Colo. They lived in Colorado before moving to Oregon in 1939
and purchased a farm in the Big Bend area. Mr. Reno
died Feb. 13, 1975.
She was a member
of the Methodist Church and had served as president of World
War I Auxiliary. She was also a member of Disabled
American Veterans Auxiliary and the American Legion
Auxiliary where she held several offices.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth E. of Parma, and Clinton
E. of Pullman, Wash.; three daughters, Lorriane M.
Baughmgardnar of Boise, Alberta J. Wadsworth of Carlin,
Nev., Roberta J. Smith of Homedale; two sisters, Laura
Fountain of Snyder. Colo., and Ruth Colby of San Diego,
Calif.: twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters, four
brothers, one granddaughter and two great-granddaughters.
