E. G. Rea

    Services for E.G. Rea, 88, of Nampa, who died on Sunday, Dec. 15, at home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    The Rev. Evert Roberts, pastor of the Meridian Gospel Tabernacle, will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    Mr. Rea was born Nov. 11, 1897, at Harrison, Ark., where he was reared and educated.  He married Ida B. Wright Oct. 19, 1919, at Harrison.  Since 1936, they have made their home in the Boise Valley, where he farmed and operated a feed mill.  He also owned and operated service stations in Meridian and Nampa. He retired in 1965.
    He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting.
    He is survived by his wife of Nampa: two sons, James Rea of Vancouver, Wash., and Doyal Rea of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters. Pauline Adkins of Middleton and Hazel Voss of Nampa; two sisters, Nora Robertson of Sanger, Calif., and Mabel Kindall of Harrison, Ark.; 22 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and two sisters.
    Memorials may be made to a favorite charity or flowers may be sent.
