Harold A. Reed

    CALDWELL-- Services for Harold A. Reed, 76, of 123 W. Logan, who died Sunday in a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel.
    Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    Mr. Reed was born Aug. 2, 1895, in Haddam, Kan. and was reared in Central Oklahoma.  He served in France with the U.S. Army during World War I.  He married Maurine Babbitt on Aug. 18, 1923, at Beaver, Okla., and they later moved to Caldwell.  He was a maintenance worker for Caldwell schools for 17 years.
    He was a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and of the Veterans of World War I in Caldwell.
    Surviving in addition to Mrs. Reed are two sons, Dr. D.J. Reed of Bountiful, Utah, and Ronal D. Reed of Caldwell; three daughters, Mrs. Z. L. (Pat) Eddins of Monteview, Idaho, Mrs. August (Loretta) Hill of McCall and Mrs. Elray (Pearl) Pedersen of Layton, Utah; a brother, E.D. Reed of Merced, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Cora West of Los Molinas, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by a grandson, a brother and a sister.
