John 'Pete' Redin

    John "Pete" Redin, 84, of Parma, died Tuesday, November 29, 1994, at a Boise hospital of natural causes.  Graveside services will he held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 1994, at the Parma Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by the American Legion's Craig Emery Post #48, Parma.  Friends may call at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma, on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
    Pete was born April 14, 1910, at Aguilar, Colorado.  He lived his whole life in the West, primarily in Colorado, California and Idaho.  He moved to Parma in 1964 where he has since resided. He has been an active member of the American Legion and Senior Citizens for many years.  An accomplished musician, he was active in several bands over the years; in later years a member of the Senior Citizen's Kitchen Band. 
    Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Parma; sons, Joe, Conrad and Tim, and daughters, Shirley and Pamela, all from out of state; stepdaughters, Judy Johnson and Kay Williams of Parma, and Linda Person of New Jersey; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters, his two sons, Michael and Fred, and a daughter, Cecelia.
    The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Legion's Craig Emery Post #48, Box 428, Parma, Idaho 83660.
