Jack Rodwell

     Graveside funeral services for Jack Sterling Rodwell, 62, of 1120 E. Linden St., Caldwell, who died Wednesday at his home of natural causes, will be conducted at 10 am. Saturday, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, by the Rev. Dale Vandegrift of Caldwell, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    He was born July 19, 1920, at Cambridge, Neb., to Raymond and Florence Rodwell.  He moved with his family in 1925 to Nampa where he was reared and attended schools, graduating from Nampa High School.  He married Leona M. Kuhlman on May 5, 1940, at Long Beach, Calif.
    He served in the Marine Corps during WWII.  Following his discharge, he returned to Nampa in 1945.  In 1956, he moved to Caldwell.  He had been in the service station business until his retirement in 1979.
    He was a member of the Caldwell Men's Golf Association of Caldwell, Lodge No. 1448, B.P.O.E., and of the Disabled American Veterans.
    He is survived by his wife and two sons, Rex and Jeff Rodwell, all of Caldwell; two daughters, Gregg Ann Rodwell, of Boise and Linda Lane of Nyssa, Ore.; his mother, Mrs. Florence Rodwell of Nampa; three brothers, Gene of Nampa, Jerry and Max, both of Boise; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his father.
    Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, Friday from 1 to 8 p.m.
    Memorials may be given to the Idaho Lung Association or to the Bill and Kathy Yost Community Center Fund in care of the funeral chapel.
