Lois A. Robertson, 89, of Caldwell,
died Saturday, January 23, 1993, at Hospice House in Nampa.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January
26, 1993, at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Dr. Larry
Crist, Regional Minister of the South Idaho Christian Church,
(Disciples of Christ) will officiate. Private committal
services will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell,
with her grandson, Randy Robertson officiating.
Lois was born May 30, 1903, at Cordell, Oklahoma, to Louis N.
and Rosalie Wise. The family moved by covered wagon to
Iowa when she was nine years old. Lois married Charles
Robertson, November 29, 1921, at Carroll, Iowa. In 1927
they came to Caldwell, moving all of their personal
possessions including horses and farm equipment by train.
They owned and operated the Nampa Saddle and Canvas Shop
for ten years. They also owned and operated the
Robertson Trailer Park on Aven Avenue in Caldwell for

Lois is survived by a brother, Jim Wise of Boise; a daughter
and son-in-law, June and Dick Winder; two sons and
daughters-in-law, C.W. Bill and Donna Robertson of Clearfield,
Utah, and Jay J. "Its" and Diana Robertson of Caldwell; nine
grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and nine
preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; a son, Robert; and
a grandson, Chuck Winder.
