for Michael Teague Rasmussen, 7-year-old son of Michael and
Cosette Rasmussen of Nampa, who died Wednesday, June 25, at
home of natural causes, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at
the Nampa Fifth Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Bishop Kenneth Wheeler will
officiate, with burial to follow at the Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Caldwell, under the direction of the Alsip Funeral
Michael was born April
8, 1979, at Nampa, where he had lived with his family.
At the time of his death, he had been a first grade student
at the Sunnyridge Elementary School. He had attended
the musical kindergarten.
Last year he
was active in the Nampa T-Ball baseball program and he loved
to go fishing.
He was a member of the
Nampa Fifth Ward LDS church.
survived by his parents of Nampa; five sisters, Sasha, Mendy,
Terra, Erin and Lacey Rasmussen, all, at home; maternal
grandparents Lenn and Cherril Garner of Heyburn; paternal
grandparents Blaine and Lois Rasmussen of Rupert; maternal
great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Thorton of Pleasant
Grove, Utah; paternal great-grandmothers, Nellie Hunsaker
and Eleanor Rasmussen, both of Rupert; and numerous aunts,
uncles and cousins.
Friends may call
at the Nampa Alsip chapel today from 1 to 9 p.m., Monday
from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and at the church Tuesday from 10 a.m.
to 10:45 a.m. The family will greet friends at the
Alsip chapel Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
