Martina Ramirez
Rosary for Martina Ramirez, 58, Marsing, who died Tuesday, Sept. 18, at home of natural causes, will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated a 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caldwell, with Father John Koelsch as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Mrs. Ramirez was born Jan. 30, 1926, at Uhland, Texas, where she was reared and educated.  She married Margarito Ramirez on Feb. 26, 1943, at San Marcos, Texas.  They lived in Maxwell, Texas, for 14 years.
    They began coming to Idaho for the work season in 1958, and continued until 1972, when they moved to Marsing.  She was a member of St. Hubert's Catholic Church, Homedale, and the Good Shephard Catholic Church, Marsing.
    She is survived by her husband of Marsing: three sons, Plas and Eddy, both of Marsing, and Rudy of Caldwell; three daughters, Dominga Barroso and Gloria Ramirez, both of Marsing, and San Juana Salinas, Caldwell; two brothers, Jose Valdez of Martindale, Texas, and Domingo Valdez of Maxwell, Texas; four sisters, Trinida Valdez of Maxwell, Texas, Macaria Velasquez, of Temple, Texas, Stepfana Lombrado, San Marcos, Texas, and Trini Martinez of San Antonio, Texas; 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
    Friends may call at the Flahiff Chapel in Caldwell on Thursday from 9 a.m. until Rosary service time.
