CALDWELL— Services for Mrs. Nora Lena Reininger, 73, of 1409
Dearborn, who died Wednesday in a Caldwell hospital, will be
conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel
by the Rev. Richard Ashworth of the First Southern Baptist
Church. Interment will follow at Kohlerlawn Cemetery
Mrs. Reininger was born
Aug. 5, 1897 in Thomas, Okla., and was reared in Oklahoma.
She was married to Frank Reininger Feb. 21, 1916 in Eagle
City, Okla., and they moved to Idaho from Camargo, Okla., in
1938, living south of Nampa until moving to Klamath, Calif.,
in 1951. He died June 28, 1962 in Klamath and she came
to Caldwell then to make her home.
was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church where she
was a clerk, taught in the Sunday School and Bible School
and was a member of the Women's Missionary Society and
three sons, Russell L. Reininger of Boise, Hurshell L.
Reininger of McKinleyville, Calif., and Kenneth J. Reininger
of Willow Creek, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Ardis P. Shroll
of Caldwell and Mrs. Violet C. Fitting of Kirkland, Wash.;
two brothers, Harry H. Miller of Harahn, La., and Howard
Miller of Los Angeles.; two sisters, a twin Mrs. Hattie
Cowan of Odessa, Texas, and Hilda Lamb of Caldwell; her
step-father, Charles E. McDougald of Caldwell; 17
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to First Southern Baptist Church or
the Heart Fund.
